TATE 01 Ulta Beauty’s Holiday Campaign

Tate McRae is bringing a little beauty magic to the holiday season! The singer joins Ulta Beauty’s “The Magic Starts With You” campaign, showcasing her fragrance TATE 01.

The campaign also features Selena Gomez and Rare Beauty, alongside returning festive character Mrs. C. Together, the campaign’s stars highlight a seasonal message: making time for yourself while celebrating and giving to others.

For Tate, the appearance puts her fragrance venture in the spotlight alongside her music career. Her dedicated campaign clip, titled “Ulta Beauty & Tate McRae bring the holiday magic,” is available to watch on YouTube.

According to Brand Innovators’ November 4 report, the advertising campaign will appear across television, streaming and digital media. Although coverage has continued into November, campaign clips were already circulating in October.

With TATE 01 taking centre stage in her holiday appearance, fans have another side of Tate’s creative world to explore this season.

Okay, this definitely turned out differently than we fans expected!

For a while, October 1 had fans wondering what Tate McRae might be teasing. A new single? A new album? Maybe even a new tour announcement?

Well… none of the above.

Instead, Tate surprised everyone by announcing something completely different: her very first fragrance, Tate 01 – The Eau de Parfum by Tate McRae.

It marks a brand-new chapter for Tate outside of music and gives fans another way to experience her personal style and aesthetic.

What does Tate 01 smell like?

The fragrance is described with the following notes:

Fresh Bergamot. ISO E Super. Warm Ambers.

The official description sums it up perfectly:

“A signature scent that feels effortlessly you.”

With fresh bergamot bringing a bright opening, ISO E Super adding a smooth and modern character, and warm amber notes giving the fragrance a soft and sensual finish, Tate 01 sounds like a scent designed to feel intimate, effortless and personal.

Not the announcement fans expected

October 1 may not have brought us a new Tate McRae single, album or tour announcement, but launching her first perfume is certainly an unexpected surprise.

And the name Tate 01 immediately raises another question: could this be just the beginning of a whole fragrance collection?

For now, fans can look forward to discovering Tate 01 – The Eau de Parfum by Tate McRae and experiencing a completely new side of Tate.
